We have been made aware of customers receiving texts messages from local authorities, speaking about outstanding Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). They are providing payment links and providing false information. Please note the North Essex Parking Partnership will never text customers regarding PCN’s. We ask if you receive messages claiming to be from us, please contact our team on 01206 282316 during business hours and we can check our system for any outstanding penalties.
MiPermit have also advised that there is another scam text in circulation which requires a payment to be made for parking. Please be advised that these messages are not legitimate. Should you receive one of these texts we advise you to not engage with it and delete it. Should you have any concerns then please use the above telephone number to contact our team during business hours.
