Success at National Parking Awards

This week, the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP) is celebrating after winning the Communications Award at the British Parking Awards 2020 for the second year running.

The ‘Communications Award’ category recognises imaginative, engaging and informative approaches to communicating with the public and other organisations. The NEPP won this award for its messaging linked to the national Positive Parking Agenda, including a new series of videos outlining the work of our organisation, improvements to our online services and communication of our MiPermit smart parking account.

Councillor Robert Mitchell, Deputy Cabinet Member for Highways at Essex County Council and Chairman of On-Street Parking at North Essex Parking Partnership, said: “I’m delighted that the innovative and positive approach NEPP has taken towardsits communications has been recognised and celebrated at these prestigious nationalawards.

“I would like to congratulate NEPP’s partners and staff on this fantastic achievement and we will continue to work hard to ensure this excellent work continues.”

The awards were held at the Royal Lancaster in London on Friday 6 March 2020.
